Call Rob Aretz, http://www.RobAretz.com. Explain why you need the appraisal and it shouldn't be too bad, since there won't be a lot of work involved. Tell him Blaire Beavers referred you. The thing that frosts me is that they aren't even very round.

Thank you for your help. I did contact Mr. Arentz and he was helpful. For the moment, I'll wait to see how Amex handles my complaint and if they would need an analysis to go forward.

I hope it is resolved promptly and properly. As a seller I hate it when there is this sort of spin and shilling to get a sale, any old sale. It taints all pearl sellers, unfortunately.
