I sent the vendor (in USA) a message, but have heard nothing back... She has 5 more pearl listings with false descriptions. So sad.

I presume they're cheap freshwater pearls? Report the listing to eBay, maybe?

The description says, "Do not be fooled by imitations, synthetic black pearls or dyed freshwater pearls. This is the real deal, a natural genuine Black Tahitian Pearl Pendant." The seller goes on to defend the pearl by saying "How much is your item REALLY worth? People ask this all the time, if you go to your local jeweler and tell them you bought something on eBay many will tell you that you got ripped off without even looking at it because a lot of retail jewelers resent eBay for bringing transparency to the gem and jewelry market."
