Hello there, Can anyone please advise.
I was given 2 necklaces, both I believe are natual Pearls? From my great grandmother and many years have gone by and I just came across them. I remembered last year looking at a photo of her back in 1920 I saw them on her neck.

1st one are made up with tiny pearls and a gold clamp.

next one is a set, with flat bottoms and 14kt gold clamp.

does not anyone have an idea about these? also maybe a dollar amount?
thank you in advance.:DHello there, Thank you for taking the time out.

We moderate new members' first two posts, so I deleted the other one.

The top necklace looks to be cultured freshwater button pearls, so that can't be the one in the photo you remember, so maybe it is the other one. We need some close ups of the clasp on the button pearls and maybe two of three of the other necklace with the pendant. And of the pendant itself. It is hard to tell anything about them from that photo.

At a glance, those seem really nice.

Before the experts here would give you advice, they'd probably need a bit more to see. Perhaps some zoomed macro shots on white background in daylight would be a good start. Don't be shy to post lots of images of the pearls, pendant, findings and clasps. Are there any hallmarks on the clasps. or trademarks on the boxes?

Likewise, could you post the picture of your grandmother? Do you know how she came by them?

If indeed, these are from the 20's, it is possible they are natural and could retain significant value.
