I have done the tooth/friction tests. They seem grainy when doing so. Each pearl has a knot separating it from the next.

You have a strand of genuine Chinese cultured freshwater pearls. They are very off round, what we call "eggy". Many of the pearls also have rings. These two factors put together mean that your necklace is not valuable, because smooth and round are the main criteria for good pearls.

I am sorry to tell that if you could sell it for $10.00, you would be making a huge profit on the value of the pearls.
