  • Long strand of pretty pink pearls - freshwater?

I purchased this very long strand of pinkish pearls and want to see if they are freshwater pearls. The strand is 101" long and the pearls are about 6 mm in size with a nice luster and shape. Another estate purchase.

I love this site! Thanks so much.

You should definitely look through old posts...somewhere there's a thread on multiple ways to wear a 100" strand. I actually saw a woman in NYC wearing a strand crisscrossed over her back and through her arms, wearing it kind of like a shawl.
