Oh, and I joined The Pearl Association of America yesterday. I don't know why it never occurred to me to join before.

Little h for me today. Souffle' pearls with reclaimed rubies. Mismatched earrings. And a Kojima coin pearl ring with ruby flower.

Lots of Tahitians today. Bali earrings from Kamoka. TNT necklace (Tahitians and tourmalines) of circled Tahitians from Ocean's Cove. Ombre' strand and tin-cup both from Kojima. The colors are more vibrant in real life. My phone camera wants to make everything look grey, even the white background.

Dammit. I broke it by catching it on a doorknob. This is the second time I've done it to this same necklace. Grrrr.

These are stunning Tahitian pearls! I follow Kamoka on Instagram and it's my dream to be able to buy some of their Tahitians someday.

Also I hope I'm replying properly? I'm a newbie here so I have no idea if I'm doing things right. but I've lurked in this thread and have seen so many amazing pearls!

I’ve been hanging out in the Pacific Pearls/Kojima Booth in Tucson all week! So fun to play with all the loose pearls and strands from Pacific Pearls and some fun new pendants from Kojima Pearls.

I wish I could have gotten the earrings in focus. I’m not skilled with my iPhone. Tanzanite with silver/gray pearls is a really good combination IMHO.

Syrie: Wowza. Those are gorgeous. The necklace is great, but your earrings are phenomenal! I love gemstones with pearls.

And now for something completely different. Bead store, side drilled, dyed, freshwater pearls in the necklace, with a couple of stick pearls. I was going to use these side drilled pearls are dangles on the fringe of a handwoven shawl. But, I loved how they looked when temporarily strung from the bead store. All squiggly-wiggly. So I strung them as a necklace, and despite being super cheap, dyed pearls, I love the necklace. Pendant is a natural color (I think) freshwater pearl from Kojima Pearl. The earrings are intensely blue, natural color, baroque akoya pearls from Pearl Paradise. I've never seen natural colors this intense before. Oh, and last week I officially became a member of The Pearl Association of America. I thought it was time.

Yesterday, I was also in a blue mood. Blue baroque akoyas from PP (necklace and earrings) and the two pearl BBA ring is from Takahashi Pearl in Japan. Sea of Cortez ring in a PP setting. Handspun 50% silk / 50% yak down yarn. I'm using it to make a sample of sprang for another author's book.

Squiggly wiggly, wasn't that a grocery chain? I particularly love the celtic knot connectors. I'm thinking that necklace might be interesting worn the other way around, too. Two for one!

The green on the ring is amazing. Green pearls are currently on my radar, but finding the right shade is the challenge.

Here are my newest, from SimplyAdorned4U on etsy. They have such a luster, and you can tell the colors on the central section. The stones are green amethyst. It's my first Tahitian strand and I'm ridiculously pleased with it, at least until I win the lottery and get some Fijians.

They were lovely enough that Dex deigned to model.

How lovely! The kasumis are really nicely balanced in color!

Blues and pistachios today. I love how these two necklaces nest together. The colors don't match, but the luster is off the charts. They look like soap bubbles. 10mm blue baroque akoya necklace and 5 mm pistachio baroque akoya necklace from Pearl Paradise. Blue baroque akoya ring from Takahashi. Dyed freshwater drops from Kojima worn on my own hoop earrings.

Visiting Dad today. Ombre' pearls. All from Kojima Pearl. Long ombre' tin-cup of white and gold South Sea pearls, Tahitian pearls, and pink freshwater pearls. Long ombre ropoe of freshwater keshi going from white around my neck down to pink at the bottom. Freshwater pendants worn on my own earrings.

Some of my favorite Tahitian pearls. Black and white studs go with everything, even my white akoya pearls. 2019 All-Josh Harvest strand. All from the Kamoka pearl farm. I absolutely love this necklace and earrings. As much as I loved the look of the flower clasp that came with the necklace, I wear it more now that I have the big hook clasp. Thank you, Pattye!

I haven’t really worn much pearls these days as our weather has been awful, and we are mostly indoors, but here is a look I had on yesterday. Spiky akoyas from Druzy and an earring turned pendant from Simply Adorned. Wishing everyone a beautiful Sunday!
