My pearls

So sorry to hear about your Father, Charlotta, but pleased he made a good recovery from the operation and I hope he continues to recover slowly and surely. My very best wishes to you and your family.

Augustuscollection is quite well-known here. The owner hasn't posted in a while but is a member. Sven, I think. They live on Bali and I recall one of the members here, Red?, visiting them. They used to have a website as well, Eastern Trading Wind, but it doesn't seem to be there now. I have bought from them several times, often lose SSP for a charm bracelet but also findings in 22k gold and an amazingly detailed mammoth carving of Ganesh.

Thank you Happy Huka, he is doing better. KarinK, I have bought findings from augustus-collection before as well. They have some amazing stuff.

Played around with my sampler strand again. I love this strand, the colors are awesome, I did use up a lot of leftover pearls from other projects and it's so versatile. I mean it can be a rope, or a short strand (or two), with or without enhancers. It can be arranged in a cool or warmtoned version.

Gorgeous! Charlotta your stringing is so well done I can barely see the knots between the pearls.

Thank you Cricketbug and Gemandpearllover. I find that since I stopped using silk last year and only use Beaders secret the knots sre smaller. I also took Pattyes advise and stopped using tools to Guide the knot. Most people used an awl, but I used to use a pin. It is faster and with neater knots.

Forgot some photos of my sampler strand and of my ombre circled tahitian bracelet that I took yesterday. Some of the colors are amazing. Peacock colors.

That bracelet gave me serious cravings for a silver tahitian strand. I had the bracelet on for 2 days and every time I looked at it the silver shifted colors and flashed in pink and aqua tones. Also did get some peacock cravings...but sometimes peacock colors looks kind of muddy and brown in sunlight.

Is this the new heavy metall....or metallic at least. Sorry to me for spamming my own tread... The colors were good today. Love colors. Ripplestrand from Kongspearl.

So I really shouldn't crave any silver or peacock tahitian strand.

I LOVE your “spamming”! All that pearl glory, first thing in the morning. Happy, happy sigh! Your Rickatea strand is still my fave, but the ombre strand is in second place only by a pearl. ;) Love, love, love the last photo with all the studs. What a wonderful collection you have, Charlotta.

The WSS strand is amazing, yet I could see where you might be tempted by a gray-silver strand to fill out the colour spectrum... (Insert angel emoji) Just sayin’!

Thank you Cricketbug, yes a baroque silver tahitian strand would be nice...don't see many of those anywhere though. Not a popular color perhaps. Mostly I see multicolor, green or peacock colors.

Oh, those Rikiteas are just the best. But the SS from Cees is truly gorgeous too. You have a wonderful collection.

I feel the same way, I'm LOVING looking at these, first thing in the morning. Gives me so many ideas for if/when I can add similar beauties to my modest collection. Until then, I get to see these whenever I turn on the computer. Some of the colors in that ombre are AMAZING.

OMG Charlotta!!!! How can you get anything done with a collection like this to admire??? Absolutely gorgeous pearls of all colors, I have been looking at your pictures smiling with amazement for about 10 minutes....What else to say? Keep on ‘spamming’...you make us happy here :)

Thank you SydK, BritM and eolian pearls. I cannot believe that I own anything that gorgeous as the ombre tahitian strand. Most pearls are studquality in it.

Oh my goodness...all that eye candy. I so love looking at everyone's goodies. I've looked at those greenish golden strands from Kong before but was hesitant since I hadn't known of anybody here getting a SS strand before. Yours look lovely though.

Thank you lary007, the greenish strand is really nice. It's not perfect, but I really love when pearls have that extra nacre so that it looks like it dripping from them.

All of your pearls are beautiful and you do an amazing job of creating gorgeous looks with them. I too love how the nacre looks like dripping metallic candle wax on your greenish SS pearls.
