I found these pearls in a junk shop for $2.00, so I couldn't leave them there. They are real and perfectly matched--8 feet of them! The pearls are a little ovoid in shape and are about 2mm by 3mm. They are not knotted. What do you think? What should I do with then?

For $2.00, you did well!
It's an endless rope of tissue-nucleated (i.e. no bead inside) freshwater pearls from China. The egg shapes are very typical.

Here is thread with ideas about how to wear a 100 inch rope.

Of course, you could also restring them with a clasp, either the same length or shorter, as you prefer. There are tutorials and videos on restringing your own pearls in the Lowly Beaders Club.
