Hello there,
I'm recently new to the world of vintage jewelry and started buying up lots. I do know how to test for real pearls thanks to my grandmother, so I'm sure these are real. I am looking for more information on the possible era, type and worth.

The necklace in question was purchased from a sale comprised of 5 or more estates. The gentlemen running the show threw all jewelry in a box and let me have it for practically nothing and had no information on the owners (various wives of their dead relatives).

No marks, signatures or any indication of maker.
Contains 4 strands of pearls, two of glass or stones.
Length is approx 16.5 clasp to clasp.
Pearl sizes range 4-6mm
Ends are conical and simple hook which I have not tested for metal type.

I apologize in advance for poor lighting.
Any information on the type of pearls, era or worth would be greatly appreciated.
Link is directly to IMGUR album, as I was having difficulty with image file size on forum attachments.

Thanks!

The necklace is a torsade of Chinese freshwater cultured pearls and garnet beads. Not costly and probably 7 - 20 years old, but could be older. These kinds of necklaces are still sold, but the pearls are more round. :)
