I was gifted this beautiful choker from an elderly (now deceased) neighbor.
The clasp is marked 585 (14k gold)
The pearls are much larger than any others I have owned, and have noticeable marks - ridges, indentations- and are not completely uniform and round.
They have a beautiful luster and are quite hefty.
Am I correct to assume that they are freshwater pearls?
