Does anyone have any ideas on what kinds of high quality pearl necklaces work for men? I picked up this pearl recently and decided to set it as a pendant. I want to expand my collection. I think neoprene pearl bracelets, single pendants and small strands tend to work but curious to see what others think and/or are doing.

My issue is that some jewelers don’t really make great designs for men. I went to Jewelmer recently and loved the pearls, but not the designs for men. Same for Paspaley.

Curious to know if there are jewelers (or Instagram accounts) that folks on here can recommend that focus on men’s pearl jewelry and / or styling.

My husband likes wearing Tahitian strands. At this point he has 4! He also has a necklace I made him with 3 large Tahitian/SS pearls strung on leather.
I got him a Tahitian keshi stud earring that looks very good on him, but he prefers the chunky silver and gold rings he hand crafted for himself.

Check out Kamoka:

Also, I'm sure Pearl Paradise would work with you to create a style you like.

I was also going to suggest Kamoka. There's a topic under Pearls in the News, called "men and pearls," with celebrity male pearl sightings. You might get some ideas. It would seem that men and Tahitians are compatible.

I also recommend Kamoka! And Pearl Paradise - Jeremy wears really fantastic tahitian strands so I'm sure they could do something custom for you.

You could also try to make your own! There are great tutorials on here.

Making ones own is a good call SurfnSci - also Kamoka looks great! Will check them out.

I'm in the market now for some golden keshis...where would you suggest sourcing for those if I wanted ot make my own?

I would take a different angle and try a strand on. I wear a ton of pearl jewelry, all strands and strand bracelets. Some choker - some long. One of my favorite strands is a GSS chocker. Maybe a nice Tahitian strand - dark overtones would be a nice comfort zone.

I think Mikimoto has a collection targeted for men, but I didn't see a link on their website. I'm not invested enough to do a serious search. :)
