3. My mother came home from a trip to the Philippines with this strand in the 1990s. A relative gave them to her so I don't know where they were purchased originally, but it's safe to say the came from somewhere in East Asia.

5. Pearls are about 5 mm, not perfectly round.
I'm guessing these are freshwater pearls. I really like them because they are pink and small.
