Layering pearls and other jewelry/pearl safety?

Hi!

I love to layer my bracelets and rings. I'm really into mismatched antique styles.

I recently got a freshwater bracelet from PP. I want to wear it with an antique white gold/diamond watch, and a delicate white gold/diamond bracelet (the diamonds are bezel set-so no worries about them scratching the pearls--just the metal).

Should I not do this, because of scratching? How do some of you ladies wear your bracelets?
Anyone else love to layer?

Honestly I wouldn't worry about it, pearls are tougher then they get credit for. Yes it might wear the pearls if you wore them with metal bracelets every day but occasional wear won't be an issue.
