Freshwater pearls?

Please can I get your opinions on these pearls - the owner was told they are freshwater. They're ones on the necklace are graduated - between around 9.8mm-16mm. This is the only photo shared with me. Any confirmation / other ideas much appreciated - thank you! And also they are with the pair of earrings - around 11mm.

The necklace actually looks like south sea pearls to me. It has a hidden clasp-- not something you would typically see with FWP but rather with the much costlier SSP.
The studs could also be SSP, based on size and color tone.
It's a very nice set.

Yes, agreed. These are South Sea, not freshwater.
