Dark ugly drop

Hello! Would be nice to know what is this ugly thing? It gets a magical colour when screened. It came to me wih other clam pearls under the name "kima chocolate" from Flores Sea in Indonesia. Thanks!

It looks like a Pinna pearl to me. "Pinna Nigra" Atrina vexillum .. just a possiblity.
Reminds me of these..

Seems a little transparent for a Pinna, although the color is right. Are there brown clam pearls in Indonesia?

From what I have seen over the years I would agree that this is a highly translucent organic rich (conchiolin?) pinna pearl, although I have never been able to see one being removed from a shell so there still isn't enough proof to confirm the opinion. Would love to see someone actually bring a shell and the pearl together with video or photographic evidence of the recovery process to make such uncertainty vanish ;-)
