Are they Ugly Tahitians or not? 🧐

I bought these 3 strands some time last year as pearls (no other information) from an online auction and was disappointed by the amount of imperfections in the pearls. Since joining this forum and seeing and reading all the Pearl stories, I had to dig them out and I’m beginning to wonder if they are Tahitian pearls but just not beautiful with loads of imperfection? What do you think?

We have all bought some pearls we regretted somewhere along the way. Consider it part of your pearl education.

You may be able to sort out enough of the "better" pearls to make an every day bracelet as some seem to have less flaws.

It is truly an education and I’m loving it. I was lucky the seller refunded me for the pearls and asked me to keep them, so no loss really….

Making a bracelet with the better ones would also give you practice knotting.
