Are my pearls worth anything?

I inherited this string of pearls but there is no history, no clasp markings. I thought maybe they had been restrung. Maybe they are just worth the sentimental value. Any help would be appreciated

Please post some photos, on a white background (paper towel is fine), clear and in focus, no flash. Show us the entire stand and some closeups, including any flaws you see, especially around the drill holes.

Also try this simple test: rub 2 of the pearls together gently. Real pearls will usually feel gritty while fake pearls will usually glide smoothly on each other.

They are Chinese freshwater pearls, not high value. If you like them, buy them, but don't spend a lot.

The first few posts of new members have to be manually approved because of all the spam posts the forum gets. And we are volunteers, and not online all the time. Sorry you had to wait, but I was busy answering someone else who is buying pearls for his 30th anniversary. Also your post was piggy-backed on someone else's thread. I tend to notice new threads first.
