Advice on lengthening pearl necklace

Thanks for your reply. I have started reaching out to a few retailers to inquire as to their white baroque south sea inventories...If that proves more difficult than planned (either cost [don't want 4 more pearls costing more than the whole necklace!] or difficulty in matching luster/color), I am thinking white gold diamond rondels will be my Plan B, and thinking probably placing them every third pearl, so only about 6 rondels total, as I don't want them "overpowering" the existing look. Thanks for sharing your page. You have wonderful pieces..."creations" is probably the better word. True artwork! And, I purchased it from an estate jeweler on King Street in Charleston.
What a sweet response from you. I did some looking for you as well and you're right...the cost of even 4 FW white baroque pearls is high! This just shows what a GREAT deal you got on the strand.
One other option to consider would be adding smaller "white" pearls between the existing pearls. Some Baroque SSP have that little "bubble" tip that almost looks like a small additional pearl already. Doing this would keep the necklace white, but won't drastically change the unique look of the strand. Adding only 1 small white pearl between each pearl would act as a larger "knot." It would also most likely be cheaper than 14K gold beads, which changes the look of the necklace. I'd start looking for some nice white freshwater pearls in a 2-3mm size...they can be hard to find, but I know there are people on this forum that have access to these tiny pearls.
Here is a link to someone who used gold roundels and I'm not a fan of that look.
Sort of like this one on Etsy, but only use 1 pearl between each larger pearl, and use a slightly smaller size.

Let us know what you think.

High quality 2-2.2mm FW white seed pearls on Etsy: (These could work)

Buy only as many as you need...
