Hello! Unusual combination, 20 mm large pearls, but with an unusual bluish colour which seem to be natural. Any thoughts what it might be?

Are they very lightweight? If so they could be soufflé pearls, which are hollow.
They are definitely heavy weight, 138 grams per princess size necklace (my usual ones of this size are approximately 100 grams or less). So I assume they are solid.

What can you tell us about their source (or your source
Purely random estate finding I bought online today. The idea was I never had 20 mm pearls and I wanted to try them on me. Since they aren't really blemish free and baroque it was a good price point deal for me! Also, I love bluish lighter pearls, so I felt like doing so.

Still, I doubt to classify what they are.

There seems to be a bead nucleus judging from that 3rd photo where a patch of nacre is missing. Too big for akoyas. Maybe FWP?
Maybe! I used to see purple, peach and white kasumi everywhere. So if that is the case, perhaps, Chinese farms with their experiments, unlocked some new colour variant for the nucleolus FWP 😅

Do you have them already? If not, maybe they won't be quite so bluish in person.
I think they look like fireballs (without pronounced tails).

I think they might be fireballs, which only makes them more mysterious. Both assumed to be non-standard colour and tail pearls without tails, hah
I actually did a little research and found remotely bluish FWP. I haven't recieved them yet, because my residence is in Eastern Europe and I purchased them online from shop in the USA. Usually it takes 3 weeks for a parcel to get there, sometimes more. But I am very intrugued to see them in person, especially after gentle, but thorough cleaning.
