Those are unusual colors for sea pearls, so maybe they are freshwater pearls? Very unsure what you have, so let's wait for someone else.
At first, I thought I detected a bead in the little fireball and maybe the one at the top right in one of the photos, but the backs are flat.

Also image shack photos always go away from the threads they get into, so would you mind putting the photos in the thread? These are interesting and unique and we would love to have a permanent record of them, here.

I have some pearls similar to these, purchased about 2006-2007. My light box is set up, so took a few photos. They were sold to me as (Chinese) freshwater blisters/mabes. They seem to be natural color, but some have a shiny coating. I'm showing the fronts and backs. I have dyed colors also. In many, the flat side shows the nucleus, but not all. They were quite inexpensive at the time. What do the rest of you think? Do they look similar to you?

That is three of us who see the same thing. Chinese cultured freshwater pearls with a bead. Probably cultured in the last 10 years or less.

When in doubt, one can always smash one. You really don't have enough of them to smash one, but you don't need to- we know what they are.

GREAT...GIA should close down..with such forums and experts who needs labs...keep up the good work...

Do these pearls have a GIA examination report then?
