Are Fireballs Passé?

I don't see listings for fireball pearls now nearly as often as 2-3 years ago. Have they lost their allure? :confused:
 
I'm pretty sure fireballs formed out of attempts to grow round bead-nucleated freshies (Edisons etc). Perhaps as a result of improved techniques, less fireballs are being produced.

I don't think they are passé! I love my fireball pendant!
 
I don't think so. I think the price of nuked fwp might have gone up so much that reputable vendors wait for the price to go down again when supply is in abundance. Jeremy may be able to answers this question.
 
I see them at B&M stores more than I used to. They're still not common, though.
 
As production methods have improved there aren't as many new ones coming through. There are loads of rubbish ones gathering dust though
