If they are real, they are freshwater pearls. But Groupon keeps at least 50% of the sale, which means they are complete garbage. It's probably the kind of material that is typically ground up for supplements and face creams.

I'm sure it's the same thing and probably made by the same people.

I can't really say whether or not it is worth it because it really depends on what you are looking for. But just be aware that the quality will be so low, it really isn't on the level of jewelry. It's more fashion jewelry.

A new pearl designation "FC Pearls" It could stand for "Face Cream" or you can use your imagination for what else "FC" could stand for. ;)
