Hi all, I'm looking to purchase some earring stud posts with peg and cup.
For a 9mm- 11mm stud what mm cup is suitable? 3mm or 4mm?
Is there some sort of chart to follow or how does one know what size is suitable?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Thank you for the response. OK. I'll do that. That was very helpful. I was staring at the cup size trying to figure. What would work.
And another silly question... I was trying to buy the ear nuts to match, I was on Rio and I couldn't seem to find the information on whether certain ear nut fit certain stud posts. There was information on the whole of the ear nut, but I couldn't find stats of the thickness of the ear post.
Appreciate any help. Thank you

It is in the description. For example,

https://www.riogrande.com/Product/14k-yellow-gold-post-earring-with-cup-and-peg/640432

Sometimes, you will see both peg and post diameter. For example,

Lady D , so I look for ear nut that would fit the post size of 0.026"?

I have 10mm giant clutch backs in silver and gold filled. Those work pretty well at keeping big earrings up against my ear.
