Any idea who the S in a Star would stand for? I am very sure they are Akoya (From the barely grittiness & roundness) and the clasp is very Japanese Sterling style (I have a Japanese ring, earrings & a brooch with this same stylized look.) The clasp is a little different in how it hooks too...actually harder to open than it seems. Another mystery!
