Ooo, this scares me. One of my favorite necklaces is a strand of relatively small, candy-colored edisons with a center pearl that is simply the most beautiful rich purple color. I suspect it would remain beautiful even if it faded due to the shape and luster, but it would still be sad.

In all honesty, despite them being poorly dyed, I think they’re beautiful. The sort of iridescent, multicolored effect is fascinating and attractive to my eye.
