Yes. Preferably keep them in their own box.

    What are they...50's - 60's

It’s lovely, particularly the wire wrapped stone. I love wire wrapped work.

An absolute must. When I went grocery shopping I didn’t have any pearls. I wore three strand bead necklaces I designed and made myself. These did include pearls, but they were only Swarovski ones I knottted myself. Other imitation pearls didn’t lend themselves to knotting. I don’t go shopping...

Thank you. I see you are enjoying yours. I love pearls because you can wear them with everything—even jeans.

    What are they...50's - 60's

Yes, I love them. Obviously others do too, so I’m pleased to know I haven’t got weird taste in pearls. ;-)

Thanks. I think I got good value. I’m impatient to get them but the postal service must be drowning in parcels so they take a while these days,

They are gorgeous and mine must be Akoyas too. I am about to get these as well. They’re on their way to,me. It was a one dollar auction because the seller didn’t know what they are. I had at least one other bidder wanting them. I hope you can open the link. If not I’ll grab a copy of the photo...

I always thought baroque Akoyas were never onion shaped. Well, I read that somewhere. I don’t know whether I could find the listing where I bought them. I’ll have a go though. Probably a breach of copyright. https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=5484010160

    What are they...50's - 60's

Right. I’ll do my best. They’re a lot smaller than the photo shows, of course, possibly 7.5-8mm

    What are they...50's - 60's

They sound lovely. I have some lovely baroque freshwater pearls with every bit the lustre of the best Akoya pearls. They are shaped Ike onions.

    They’re lovely.

But they have such good lustre. I go for lustre before roundness, though I’d rather baroque pearls weren’t too misshapen.

    Pearls on Etsy

I’ve seen some pearl sellers on eBay who are supposedly in Japan and are selling ostensibly high grade Akoya pearls for rather low prices. They could be pearl farmers themselves but I’m still suspicious. I’ve bought from a New Zealand seller who is a bit like Jeremy at Pearl Paradise but I can...

Pearls looking more beautiful when worn regularly?

Can we see them now please? They certainly are shinier in your second pics. But four years have passed so I’m sure we’d all like to see how they look now. And thanks for your tip. I’ll get myself something to keep some of the distilled water my husband bought in bulk to make colloidal silver and...
