I’ve wondered if building in the round hut-shaped way would help buildings survive tropical storms better? On the other hand, I suppose we’re looking at water/surge damage, not just winds, right? The roiling water tears the shells away from moorings, and cages are separated from anchors...
I don’t know how you guys re-write websites and such, I’m grateful and have a lot of respect for what you’ve done.
I’m also grateful all of our pearlies have patience, and I haven’t gotten the boot, for messing-up and -about, as I learn.
Here are some of the potential add-on pearlsp for the PP...
You did a really good job with your photos! When I use my fingers to expand the pictures, they are still very crisp and the colors and details are perfect!
If she’s like her mother, she’ll have any number of creative ways to play with this! in fact, I’d be prepared to mail her the rest of the pearls with a “Pattye” kit. Or Wendy kit. Or Bernadette kit, or Cees.

Thanks for the update and laugh, Charlotta!
I know, no matter how I consider it, powdered wig or powdered hair, how was the necklace balanced or attached so it didn’t pull at her scalp, or choke her?
I’ve been thinking more about the young woman in the portrait, and your daughter.
Probably you all realized this already, but I thought the subject had wound leaves through her powdered hair (or wig), and I was thinking “Gross, the leaf fluids will get all over the pearls, and the leaves...
