Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Jeg, I love that you show a photo wearing the pearls and then a close up. The yellow and blue combinations do look super-summery and the keshi are scruptious!

    My small pearl rainbow

The structure of horn abalone pearls makes them delicate and subject to degrading over time when worn. Their potential durability can be hard to evaluate. It's all about creating a setting that will protect your lovely pearl. Disadvantage is the cost. Advantage is hiding the parts that aren't as...

    Thoughts on these old pearls

I'm shocked that they would say they weren't worth individually knotting. It's rude -- or at the least -- presumptuous to tell a client that, regardless of their opinion on the pearls. Caitlin would have loved this strand, and this thread. :)

    Blue Akoya Fingernails!

Ever since I bought my blue akoya baroque strand with the first Pearl Paradise offering in 2007, I have been in love with the blue color and stellar pink and aqua overtones. Since "quarantine nails" became my hobby, I have been on a quest to create a blue akoya nail. This photo I posted in...
