great piece Blaire! I think slowly we're seeing it more and more as acceptable. That said, while pearls are becoming more acceptable I think we're seeing a trend of men wearing less jewelry in general. But I this comes and goes.

Knowing how expensive natural conch pearls are I think it's safe to assume some of them will end being sold as naturals(if they haven't already). Up until now there's been no need to x-ray conch pearls that I know of?
