    you have Chinese freshwater pearls. The black pearls mixed in will be dyed, but still freshwater pearls.

    great piece Blaire! I think slowly we're seeing it more and more as acceptable. That said, while pearls are becoming more acceptable I think we're seeing a trend of men wearing less jewelry in general. But I this comes and goes.

    ya sounds like they are real, which is probably what they meant by "natural". Without a picture It's hard to say what they are, but seeing as it's Thailand I would assume they're Chinese Freshwater pearls.

    they could be bead nuked but they sure look like souffle pearls to me. Looks like nice luster and I wouldn't worry about that blemish in the tail end, for $6 you did well!
