Wow that is a really great couple of shots - I can't believe the nacre is so thick! How long would you estimate it took to cultivate nacre layers that thick? Four years?

They look quite lovely, and 24-inches is not the most common length, although it is one of my favorites (I like to play with my pearls when I wear them and you can't do that with a 16-inch choker lol). I'd wear and enjoy - the color looks great for a 30-year old strand! :)

Have you tried those transparent jewel cases? I'm not a huge fan because I don't like the top of the case bumping and/or possibly scratching the tops of the mab?s, but it will keep them from moving around and they are easy to look at and see your pearls (they look great all set up in a booth...
