quahog pearls don’t have a flame. Tridacna pearls do! And quahogs come in pure white purple and pink to distinguish between them

Just a little update, the pearl is still in perfect condition! What do you think of the glowy luster in these photos? In person it’s better

Just wanted to show my locket bracelet I made with a 1.125ct white egg shaped clam pearl. I think it has the best luster out of them all. It glows as shown in the photos.

Some better pics I got, I really love them I’d recommend the 7.5inch strand specifically because it’s their medium size and the 8 inch I got with one extra pearl on it the quality was lower on them, I’d go with 7.5inch pearl paradise word of advise

It just screws on and I have some foam and felt under it to make up for the extra space it presses against the glass

Oh my Gosh. I found this baby cherrystone clam inside one and this concept is just incredible, I’m hoping to find a whiter shell but what do you think, does it look nice? Edit: added a pic of the shell flipped the other way I like it!

Probably not making a ring, it’s apparently too fragile but I found a really nice locket and this is more appropriate for the pearl to me

Great news! I’m getting the pearl set in a 14k yellow gold weddingband, plain 6mm, 6.3 grams is the weight on it and it’s a really nice price I couldn’t refuse it’s gonna look like this Edit: The ring was too risky to make and suggested it not go on one

I went to a few jewelers so far unfortunately the rings were too heavy and out of my price range but I found out I’m a perfect Size 10! This little case is where it will live for a while until I find something I can afford!

There’s just one more thing you forgot to mention, we’re on the east coast so this is most definitely a Quahog Pearl from a littleneck! Worth more I’m assuming? This is with natural Sunlight
