Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Hooray! My first saltwater necklace and it's tahitian one. Also my first attempt in stringing (the first photo) done with the guide of magnificent Pearl Dreams. I was scary to tug too tight, so after several days thread stretched and I needed to restreched with a firmer approach. My inexperinnce...

Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Absolutely gorgeous necklace! I was sceptical with the white/light gold SS when I firstly saw the necklaces of that type, but the more I scrolled the more I fell in love with this look combined with light clothes! And wearing them with silky-textured shirt if absolutely celestial and divine. I...

    Are these south sea pearls?

I often ty to be merciful with my items, not that because I am afraid of their cost, rather a lot of them are of a sentimetal value, so it would be a pity to damage them. I know some people wear engagement rings in gym or swimming pool and it ends up catastrophically for the ring. With pearls, I...

    Questions about pearl harvesting process

At the place of pearls workers I would be axtra cautious as well! It woul be frustrating if an oyster worked really hard for several years to produce one singular pearl and due to my occasional erratic movement I would occasionally damaged the pearl.

    Questions about pearl harvesting process

Hello! Question mostly for pearl experts. I can't quite find some decent information on the Internet about harvest process of different pearls. I am mostly curious about when it happens for tahitians, south sea, freshwater etc., and how it is decided to harvest particular bundle of mollusks? Is...

    Are these south sea pearls?

I head real experience here, for I wore silver in my teen age and it ended up silver to become black every couple of weeks. After that I bought rhodium plate silver ring with citrine, and it ended up rhodium fade away and scuffed from contact with the skin, looking badly( Gold plate the same...

    Are these south sea pearls?

Well, it's true! In real life I sometimes see people with studs, one time a real pearl ring. What to hide, I was inspired to look for pearls partly because I liked 20s aesthetics, but partly because my mother gave me her old studs recently. A couple of times I saw necklaces, but none on the man...

    Are these south sea pearls?

It suits him a lot! I like combination of a multicoloured necklace and lighter tone clothes, especially shirts. Looks very elegant to me. Consider creating a petition for man to wear pearls more often, not only gold and precious stones ;)

    Are these south sea pearls?

Wow, it has entirely different look right now. From chaotic black & silver pearls to a real gradient with the mild accent of darker pearls occasionally. Great work and a nice eye to find a proper replacement! It seems some pieces have a great potential, I should watch carefully some...

    Are these south sea pearls?

Bad apple amongst decent relatives. True rebel, hah Btw a good idea in some circumstances! I saw a lot of single drilled pearls, but it is somewhat tricky with anything but pure white. Can't imagine people who tries to find replacement for some of the Tahitian pearls, it's not only about size...

    Are these south sea pearls?

Oh yes, these are looking much reliable! It seems you save my day twice today 😌 The more I think about restringing, the more I understand it is slightly more far of the simple maintenance, more like personalisation and pleasant handcraft, when you can change pearls in between of their places...

    Are these south sea pearls?

Oh, that might be very helpful soon! I had experience with DIY, but not with pearls, with lapis, actually. I know people sometimes wear necklaces with a clasp on the front side just for aesthetics if the clasp is a masterpiece by itself. But in any other occasion it can be really inconvenient...

    Are these south sea pearls?

Yeah, he likes to photo everything at his home with warm light, but it is doubtfully done on purpose, since a lot of his pieces has blue color and it supposed to look worse with yellow light by all laws. Yet, I can't imagine these to arrive completely paly gold near the yellowish silver either...

    Are these south sea pearls?

Took all the notes, I'll go with the wise approach, thank you very much! It is the case where my personal preferences have nothing against the lighter gold. I realise a lot of people go with deep gold 24k color just because it is the most valuable option, I just not really into black pearls, and...
