Help with indetification? Bluish baroques but huge

I think they might be fireballs, which only makes them more mysterious. Both assumed to be non-standard colour and tail pearls without tails, hah I actually did a little research and found remotely bluish FWP. I haven't recieved them yet, because my residence is in Eastern Europe and I purchased...

Help with indetification? Bluish baroques but huge

Maybe! I used to see purple, peach and white kasumi everywhere. So if that is the case, perhaps, Chinese farms with their experiments, unlocked some new colour variant for the nucleolus FWP 😅

Help with indetification? Bluish baroques but huge

Purely random estate finding I bought online today. The idea was I never had 20 mm pearls and I wanted to try them on me. Since they aren't really blemish free and baroque it was a good price point deal for me! Also, I love bluish lighter pearls, so I felt like doing so. Still, I doubt to...

Help with indetification? Bluish baroques but huge

They are definitely heavy weight, 138 grams per princess size necklace (my usual ones of this size are approximately 100 grams or less). So I assume they are solid.

Ate these real if so what kind?

I believe these are plastic ones, coated with a shimmering covering. If so, beads are not supposed to be gritty on tooth.

Help with indetification? Bluish baroques but huge

Hello! Unusual combination, 20 mm large pearls, but with an unusual bluish colour which seem to be natural. Any thoughts what it might be?

South Sea Pearls? That’s how they are listed.

Purple and peach are very common colours for freshwater pearls, and hues that deep are usually indicates nucleated FWP, such as Edison pearls.

    Pearl identification by blemishes

It seems they are then! Still they are very pretty to my eye, so no regrets :)

    Identity Please

Their uneveness on the surface (not the rings or pits, I suspect something that caght the eye of Pearl Dreams as well) speaks towards saltwater SS pearls. I can't see a clear overtone, but this can be with the neutral overtone SS. The necklace itself very pretty. Technically it has baroque or...

    Pearl identification by blemishes

Correct! And if these are FW they have a very good luster then, in real life they tend to have this subsurface colorful sheen. I have read some Akoyas can do this trick, perhaps a strong overtoned FW as well?

    Pearl identification by blemishes

There are two necklaces side-by-side, one is confirmed to be south sea (larger circled pearls) and I use it as reference. The one with the oval pearls a sort of mystery for me though! It confused me because it doesn't look like others my FW, and in the bright light it reminds me of this SS...

    tahitian pearls?

Both of them look like black (enhanced) freshwater pearl necklaces to me. Quite small and without typical tahitian luster. Very pretty though, the one with 4 rows is terrific!

    Pearl identification by blemishes

Hello! Since my father kindly agreed to make a little photosession of the necklace I am not sure about, I finally decided to ask! Ovals are a common shape for several types of pearls, so I mostly looked for blemishes and luster. The last one is not dull, I would say quite good, but not as...

    Freshwater baroque ones?

Your pearls are looking so great! I love natural shapes if they are arranged neatly 😊 And yes, I agree, because I see a lot of similarities. but also it's a lot of doubts when it comes to something that isn't 100% match with confirmed references.

    Freshwater baroque ones?

In fact, I realized I am at my parents house today (for a visit) and my father is a professional photografer who has a hobby of picturing bugs with macro lenses. I've asked him to make me photos of this necklace and another one I wanted to ask about here for a while. Here are some clarification...

    Freshwater baroque ones?

The surface is very gritty though. I have glass and plastic fashion pearls, nothing like this.

    Freshwater baroque ones?

Yes, exactly this! Perhaps, I mean, it's more possibilities to make irregular pearl rather than perfectly round.

    Freshwater baroque ones?

Is there any difference from classic non-nucleous FWP though? As far as I know there is no nucleous, but mantle tissue used for them. Are nugget pearls alike keshi in saltwater pearls, means spontaneous?

    Freshwater baroque ones?

I used to see large kasumi elongated shapes, fireballs or some irregural oval shapes, these are quite fancy by their appearance. It seems these are FWP then!

    Freshwater baroque ones?

Hello everyone! I bought a necklace mostly for the clasp, and I couldn't identify the pearls itself by the photos seller provided. In real life they are very much different from my standart potato freshwater necklace. I attach the macro photo I made of them both with my stored spare south sea...
