This might be a silly question, but it just hit my mind. I know pearls contain some water, but is this the water from the sea or lake where they are farmed or do they produce ”their own” water?
Thank you for your replies, I feel confident in buying from them now. I’m aware of the color issue, it’s impossible to catch the right colors with a camera and pearls look so different in different lights. Here are the earrings I purchased from Pearllunar, they were listed as champagne gold pink...
And oh, the pearls I want are 9.9 mm round freshwater pearls, but do they come in this size if they haven’t been nucleated with a bead? I asked the seller and they said it’s just been nucleated with a tiny ”chip”...
Hello!
I saw some pretty pearls on Pearllunar’s shop on eBay, but the ones I want are pretty expensive so I would like to know if their photos are close to the true color, luster etc.?
Thanks. :)
Thank you so much, Pearl Dream! I had no idea you could bring back the thread, I’m so happy you could!
And oh, I tried another image host that I hope works for everyone? But please notice that you have to click on the photos to see the full photo and the right colors. :)
Hello! I had a thread up about chosing tahitian stud earrings, but my photos seemed to not load and they didn’t show the pearls’ true color, so I happened to remove the whole thread while editing my first post... But here are some new photos of the pearls, that I think showed their true color in...
Accidentally removed my thread, here are some new photos of my stud earrings

Thank you! It’s amazing how they shift colors like that, in my livingroom they look like that sea foam color just like in the picture in my first post, outdoors they are more light silver/gray, and in my kitchen they look teal blue. Magic!
Well, I was suprised to see that my earrings arrived today! They are very pretty, however much more steel gray and a bit darker in real life and not so much green/blue... but it seems to shift colors in different lights. Photo will come soon for you to see!
The postal service here in Sweden is extremely slow, so according to them I will have to wait 1-2 weeks more before my earrings arrive... Please hold your thumbs that they will arrive sooner!
