Yep and that's my suspicion that I'm knotting badly. Maybe if I try half hitch knots?

The 2nd was what I meant. I pull 2 strands apart and knot them that way. Or if I'm doing a single pearl bracelet and I'm using 4 strands, I put 2 strands in one hand and 2 strands in the other and knot them that way. Much like this tutorial . Do you think that is what is making my strands fuzzy...

Thanks. I guess my question would be if you were doing a 2 strand bracelet would you keep the 2 lines together and do an overhand knot, then pull them apart to seat the knot? Or would you pull the strands apart immediately and do a simple knot that way? Thanks x

Maybe but shouldn't an over hand knot incorporate all strands? If so that may be why I am getting fuzzy knots? I just don't know how to do that as all the YouTube videos on it seem complicated.

No you didn't. I wouldn't even know where to start on that. I've never used or have any of that material.

Does anyone else have a theory? The thicker knots would show more fuzzines but would it be stronger and more reliable, right? I wish the bracelets didn't have a quicker wear through time like necklaces.

Hi. So my next question would be even though the 4 strands show more fuzziness would that wear better over time, ie with frequent wear, or should I try 2 strands on the medium serafil thread? Though if you have to double knot wouldn't the same problem occur?
