Making the final knots ~ hold in my hand, thread goes down through middle fingers,over index finger and up through to make a half hitch (needle points toward the end!) Keep threads from twisting, Tighten between pearls. String through 2nd pearl, repeat knot.

A very thin pin, will open the channel for the needle to easily pass through the last pearl, sometimes I add a small dab of glue on the thread as it goes into the hole (tucking the tail). BREATHE! It's done, trim threads with a Zapper or blade.

Clasp is settled on the gimp each thread is separately pulled tight, ready for the first knot. A tiny gap is ok and space will be taken up by the knots.
Had to use the pliers to gently coax everything into position before tightening, not usually necessary.
Clasp tongue is added, holding it taut over my finger. Next is the fussy part. Lay the piece on the work surface.
Added a short piece of gimp, creased gently with my nail, which helps it to fold in the middle.
This is NOT the only way, other ways are just fine!! Here we go ~ 2 strands size 30, COAL, just showing a technique, not so much focusing on the lovely pearls.
