6. Mona Vale Beach - still on the Northern outskirts of Sydney, but also reasonably suburban
5. Still day one of the walk. In some places, it is fairly rugged walking. Great fun, though! Sydney CBD can be seen in the distance.
4. Bangally head - the walk follows around the tip of most of the headlands, but sadly, not this one!
3. This female Southern Right whale and her calf seemed to be following us - for about 5 km or so - this is at (where else?) Whale Beach!!
1. From Barrenjoey headland, looking back to West Head over Pittwater - close to the very start of the walk!
