No such thing as a south sea pearl that tiny. Be careful of bargain pearls on ebay; they are no bargain.

What do you want and what is your budget? People here will make suggestions for you based on what you want.

I bought these figuring that they were most likely fresh water or akoya. What do you think?

the pearls pictured sold today for $161.
What I'm looking for are 16 inch 6mm-7mm, creme colored AAA or AA grade akoya or possibly freshwater pearls. It sounds like there is no such thing as a South Sea Pearl that small.??? If you would point me in the right direction for good quality pearls at a good price, I'd greatly appreciate it :)

thank you. I'm looking for a 16 inch 6mm to 7mm AA or AAA grade Akoya necklace. Where is the best place to find nice necklace at a good price?

Hi Caitlin,

We have the pleasure of Pearly Ladies company over on the akoya pearl thread as well. Pearl Dreams has given her a great overview of her options.
