    CortezPearls yeah. I read another article here and it says the only way to tell whether it’s dyed or not ( for excellent dyed) would to have the test. I guess it’s a good point to stop my curiosity here now lol. I love my pearls:)

    pearlescence thanks. Interesting picture as the painted/dyed come in more uniformed, which is probably the motivation behind these action. ‘Cause finding these uniformed SSP is much more expensive and not affordable. Thanks for sharing it!

    CortezPearls rt thank you so much! I guess ripple is natural thing to have then. And I agree with you they are probably dyed, these color seems got sunk unnaturally around the cracks/ripples. I cannot see whether it got nuc inside without any magnifier. Sorry If anyone can provide dyed Edison...

    Got two pairs of pearls, wanted to make my first piece of jewelry. Both pairs are labeled as south sea pearls but I suspect the upper one are dyed Edison(U). They got ripple like surface, not smooth. Color seems fake for whatever reason.The drilled hole is small, but the inside looks like...
