Hi there does anyone know the approx age of these. I got from a Estate sale so do not know the history. Has a older mikimoto clam shell hallmark and a simple s in a square for silver on the clasp.

Yes I did. They are beautiful, I did have to give them a clean as they were pretty dirty, I will probably get them restrung too as the silk has stretched by about 1 cm. I will add a post on them too, to see if anyone knows the approximate age.
Hi I purchased this in an estate lot that also had some beautiful genuine mikimoto pearls. Pearl feels gritty, has beautiful lustre, no damage to it. Do you think this is the original colour? It's quite yellow and approx 7mm so quite large.
