    So sorry to not have clarified. Yes the pearl will be wrapped in plastic or another material to seal it, keeping it away from the wax. So the pearl will stay dry. And yes, the jar holding the candle will be big enough so none of the plastic or other material comes in contact with the flame.

    Lillie- Not the cage. They will pick the cage and it doesn’t go in the candle. But the pearl will be well wrapped to insulate it from the hot wax yes.

But the other thing I make is candles and I may buy some more upscale pearl cage necklaces if I can find some pretty ones and do a surprise candle with the undrilled pearls.
