Help identifiing .. surface looks “ hammered “

Thanks for the replies. I bought them on approval . They are part of a set with an 18k clasp. Not sure if I wanted freshwater but the colors and luster are pretty amazing. Tomorrow I’ll try to get a better photo of the mottling. It’s almost an “under current” of pattern ..which made me wonder...

Help identifiing .. surface looks “ hammered “

These are listed as “ cultured “ though not sure about saltwater or fresh .. or even if they are real. They feel nice, good weight 13mm , interesting color, gritty tooth feel .. but the mottling ..scale.. hammered undertone is something I just don’t know about. Curious what others think. Thanks

Has anyone bought from simplyadorned4u on etsy?

I have purchased many beautiful pearl earrings and necklaces from her. She has a keen eye for color and will customize items if you have special requests. She is quick to respond to questions and is good at describing the subtilties of the pearls. One of my favorite “ shops “.

There seems to be a fine line between grey and blue akoyas... unless they are the stunning blues that I’ve seen here on the forum.

Any guesses? ..these are in a shop

I found this strand with a 14k clasp . I identified the makers mark as Hagerstrom & Chapman. The seller doesn’t know what they are. I have poor photos ..The color leans toward silver blue, baroque pearls.
