Scrapped that Idea!! 2 bangles r made for me!

Ohhh, I dug this thread up because I remembered it and I want to make something like that using a freshwater gold that I got from Cees. But i only have the one pearl. And so it will just be one bangle. I go and think. But how exciting to still find this. And after so long, I remember it...

Cees and South Sea Pearl Ring

No really, if you ask Cees, they were not priced outrageously. If I remember correctly, the pair of pearls were under 800 USD at close to 15.something mm for the pair (two pearls) and for that lustre, well, I am very pleased. and the setting was very reasonable because it was done in Bangkok...

    Edison Black Pearl

I am a bit confused because because the main description states black Edison pearl but the colours stated within the details of the pearl are green aubergine and peacock. No mention of treatment.

Cees and South Sea Pearl Ring

Just to put the other pearl ring here. The other ring is a tsavorite pearl one.

Cees and South Sea Pearl Ring

Cees made this pink sapphire and white diamonds pearl ring for me out of the other south sea pearl I had bought from him. Because of Cees who advised that I use diamonds instead of white sapphires, I went with what he said. I think I made the right decision. Pay a bit more, but get a more...

    Edison Black Pearl

I am thinking of buying an Edison black pearl. I am unable to see photos clearly. I don't know what to look for when buying a black pearl. I have never seen a black pearl in person before. I have a few questions and would appreciate some advice: 1. What is the lustre supposed to be like...

    Southsea Pearl vs Edison Pearls

I know how you feel. They arrive a good strong lilac colour. And now they are a yellow pink, with some becoming creamy apricot (a colour I don't really like). They also are not as metallic as before. 3 years was all it took for mine. I did not believe London Pearl at first. I have never...

    Southsea Pearl vs Edison Pearls

Of course all pearls change in lustre over time. It is the shocking speed with which some FWPs can turn that makes them perhaps not so attractive now. I must say, though, that what ericw stated about purple, pink and red colours fading faster in another thread seems valid.

    Southsea Pearl vs Edison Pearls

I believe there is an issue with colour fading. Here it is, the lilac pearls by Catherine Cardinelli. These were lilac as you can see in the before pictures, found on Catherine's website. They arrived looking like the picture. This was in 2014. Now 3 years later, this is how they...

    Southsea Pearl vs Edison Pearls

These are hand shots of the ring. I feel the pinkness of it does not quite show on the pictures. Cees is very good.

    Southsea Pearl vs Edison Pearls

Ditto my sentiments. But I just want the pearls to last longer in lustre. Big question mark at the moment.

Thank you, Wendy. And what is the period covered for the refund? Within 14 days?

    Southsea Pearl vs Edison Pearls

Cees bought the tsavorites - he gave me colour options and prices to choose from. Cees also did the setting for me. I supplied the design idea. He watched the job from start to finish. I have another one in the making. With pink sapphires and diamonds. Will let you see it when it is...

Paying for jewellery setting using paypal

Exactly. At least if you have used Paypal, you can easily raise a dispute and get the money back through a third party. With a TT, you have to deal with the seller. And the seller who shouts louder to put pressure on you might get their way.

    Southsea Pearl vs Edison Pearls

So, this is my first South Sea Pearl from Cees. I love that Cees would do his best to get quality at a reasonable price. I thought to post it here because I want to compare this ring with my FWP ones later on.

    SSP keshi from Cees!

Lovely pearls. Cees never fails in his standards. And his prices are reasonable. His jeweller's workmanship is also excellent. I have a ring from him to prove that.

Paying for jewellery setting using paypal

Exactly, Lady Disdain. I would never buy from sellers who ask for telegraphic transfers.
