I am a bit confused because because the main description states black Edison pearl but the colours stated within the details of the pearl are green aubergine and peacock. No mention of treatment.

Of course all pearls change in lustre over time. It is the shocking speed with which some FWPs can turn that makes them perhaps not so attractive now. I must say, though, that what ericw stated about purple, pink and red colours fading faster in another thread seems valid.

Cees bought the tsavorites - he gave me colour options and prices to choose from. Cees also did the setting for me. I supplied the design idea. He watched the job from start to finish. I have another one in the making. With pink sapphires and diamonds. Will let you see it when it is...

Exactly. At least if you have used Paypal, you can easily raise a dispute and get the money back through a third party. With a TT, you have to deal with the seller. And the seller who shouts louder to put pressure on you might get their way.

So, this is my first South Sea Pearl from Cees. I love that Cees would do his best to get quality at a reasonable price. I thought to post it here because I want to compare this ring with my FWP ones later on.

Lovely pearls. Cees never fails in his standards. And his prices are reasonable. His jeweller's workmanship is also excellent. I have a ring from him to prove that.

Exactly, Lady Disdain. I would never buy from sellers who ask for telegraphic transfers.
