I am told the white pearl is a natural pearl from the Giwang Clam. Giwang is translated as "Ear Stud" so I assume it is a clam that looks like an ear..... It is a bit hard being more professional when you are trying to decipher the local dialects! I guess the nearest lab for confirming it...

I just googled Tridacna Gigas.... it appears to be more commonly know as a Giant Clam. I had no idea these mollusc's produce such beautifully white pearls....
