    Help what are these

They look like grimy imitation pearls. However, it will be easier to tell what they are if you give them a gentle wash and get all the gunk off them.

Freshwater pearls have come a long way. The person who wrote that might not have seen the new cultured freshwater pearls that rival the best akoyas.

    Necklace for identification

I think you may be right about the bead nucleus. Maybe they are baroque akoyas. There's a lot of wear around those bead holes.

Mudd Pearls or Rose Bud Pearls?

I agree with PD, Chinese freshwater rosebud pearls. Sorry, but they are not rare. You just don't see them sold much because they aren't smooth and round. They're very pretty. Enjoy wearing them!

    Necklace for identification

Button shapes and colors make me think they are non-bead nucleated Chinese freshwater pearls.

OOO, I remember those pecan pearls. Very colorful. Love the Kasumis, too. I don't think the circled Tahitian pearls (Coral Atoll necklace) go with the golden South Sea keshi pearls, but I couldn't decide which to wear, so I wore them both. I tried doing a video, but I cannot capture how much...

After seeing that $1,000,000 SS strand on the last PP/Assael live, I had to wear my 13.6-14.3 mm freshwater strand from Kojima that was a fraction of the price, but gives me the same joy. Baroque freshwater drops on my Mom's earrings. Drops from Pearls of Joy.
