Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

I’m wearing South Sea ropes today. The inner one is my harvest strand. The longer rope is a recent acquisition, both from Cees. They go with my yellow linen dress. It’s very hot here in Boston.

Don’t you hate that when that happens? I did the same thing to my shirt yesterday!

These are keshis that I love to wear together. The long strands are from PP. The shorter one is from Pearl Society and the studs came from TJMaxx — a surprising find there. They are a pretty greenish blue.

Those conch pearls are something else! On a much less impressive note, these are the TJMaxx pearls and beads I mentioned last week. This was originally 2 single strands of jadite beads with a fireball at each end. So I had 4 fireballs. I took a pair and had them made into dangles. I paired...

I have a pair of white fireballs that I harvested from 2 TJ’s jadite strands. I combined the 2 strands and turned the fireballs into dangle earrings. I’ll post it sometime. It all worked out well.

The keshis are Tahitians, although that was probably obvious.

A casual day today. A keshi necklace I got on eBay. The other was a TJMaxx piece made with sapphire beads but a really crummy pearl. So I replaced it with a beautiful lavender freshwater from Kojima and had the necklace restrung. Although this pearl reads as silver, it’s actually lavender. I...

Another office day; I kept it simple. A strand of silver Tahitians I got at an Intergem show last month and earrings I bought on eBay 2-3 years ago.

I wore these to work today for a client meeting. This necklace is made from a pink freshwater rope I bought around 15 years ago. I had the rope broken into 3 strands (with enough for another rope left over) and added the onyx beads. I wear it as a jumbled torsade. I happened to find matching...

Hello ladies — heading downtown to do errands and then to the office. I’m wearing a strand of pink freshwaters and a pair of mabe pearl earrings, both from my friend in the business.

Yes, this glare effect coming off the keshis was something I could not control with my phone camera. It wasn't a smudge on the lens. I must have taken 8 photos trying to get rid of the effect, but I couldn't make the adjustment. There was just something about the silverness of the pearls that...

I’m wearing Tahitian keshis today. This is a combo I wear pretty frequently. The shorter necklace is from Pearl Society. The longer necklace is from a PP live event, and the earrings are from Misha Hawaii, with a boost: I took the drop pearls on the ends from one of the strands I posted...
