This was a live auction with no pre loaded photos. I saw the pearl pendant on his table and my heart skipped. I asked him to show it, he did and ran an auction for it starting at $1. You have no idea how fast my heart was beating till I won the auction 🤣🤣😅

This really made me chuckle because ive just gone through a bag of vintage pearl necklaces with Japan and sterling clasps (graduating and non graduating and they were all fake pearls...yes..peeling..lol. Only one broken necklace was real pearls and likely akoya and that made me really happy...

Yes until recently I didn’t think FWP comes in all these lovely colors naturally except for the white ones..I just love them.

I had the same experience where I was sold FWP as SSP and I believe the seller doesn’t know any better herself. I bought them out of curiosity and sad that my suspicions was correct as they were FWP not SS. The pearls are beautiful so I’m keeping them anyway. I didn’t pay SS price so not upset...
