Yeah, the round Akoya were one of the later pearl types I added to my collection. Even having them, I was so tempted by the beautiful Akoya strands that were from Christina Assael’s private collection. So beautiful, but I know you like bigger pearls, so $$$.

The shark’s tooth is a fun piece, BWeaves! Those pearls are statement pieces, Syrie! The chain is an easy fix if you choose to swap it out down the line. A SS and Tahitian necklace from Kojima, and the large FW drop pendant is also from Kojima. I wrapped the station chain with SS keshi, and...

I only took a comparison snapshot and didn’t look closely at the strands as I was focused on sorting through other pearls. From what I could see with the comparison strands, the bead nucleated strands were a cooler tone. I’m sure there’s a range-

Lucky was done, but some of us headed back to Santa Monica to celebrate Walter’s birthday! And a tiny show and tell on the bed. I didn’t capture all the pearl choices since I spent so much time making decisions of my own. I left with a pair of little h studs of Tahitians and sparkling...
