Do I need knots between each pearls for this? Lots of pearl strands.

I have had success lining metal beads, and separators with a glass seed bead. This protects the thread from the metal. Seed beads come in many sizes, so you may have to try a few. Thinking that Serafil would give a much nicer drape than beading wire.

Fujix Polyester Thread - Has anyone used?

In the mid 90's John Tu gave me a spool of this thread. I used it on one of my first knotting projects to get some practice. After knotting 3 30" strands, I was feeling pretty confident. :) This necklace has probably been worn several hundred times over the ensuing years, sometimes loose and...

    Removing tarnish from rondelles

You might try the baking soda in an aluminum pot and water, bring to a boil, remove from heat, add the beads and see what happens. This works to clean silver. Just a thought.

Advice for knotting a pearl rope?

Hi StevieBoy, I think you might have better luck with Patty's Serafil thread. She even offers a Stringing Starter Kit on her Etsy store which includes gimp and a variety of beading needles. Serafil is strong, forgiving and produces lovely knots. Size 30 works with most pearls.

    how to string tiny beads?

I am generally not a fan of beading wire however, with tiny gemstone beads it is probably the best option. Soft Touch Beading Wire in the Very Fine (.010in/.25mm) size made by SoftFlex Company works with most small gemstone beads drilled in India. This is just my own experience.
