    Hanadama Akoya Necklace and Earrings

Alex: Yes, "Pulp Fiction" is one of my favourite movies (despite all the violence). I never thought of pearls; that's what might be in that brief case! Good thinking. Linda.

    Hanadama Akoya Necklace and Earrings

Wow Alex! Such beautiful pearls you and BV are blessed to own. There is enough fire power in that drawer .... you could have Pearl-War-Three start up in there. Look out - be careful opening that drawer. :D Linda.

Tahitian Pearl Farming: A day in the life...

Hello Josh and friends; What an entertaining thread this is. In one week, I will (with husband and two sons) be embarking on my first scuba dive .... into the deep end of our local pool. Then later, the frighteningly cold local waters off Vancouver. Wish me luck! I can't wait. I will wear my...

    Pleasant surprise

Isabelle: What a lovely pearl! Am I correct that the bigger pearls often are less colourful? So yours is quite special then. Well done! Linda.

My new Sea of Cortez pearls (and a couple others).

Hello Lisa: The silver bracelet with the opening links is from Thomas Sabo. I think it is kind of pricey. Mine was a replacement (I had an older one where the clasp came apart, and the store took it back and allowed me to chose another of similar value). In that period of time, my old...

My new Sea of Cortez pearls (and a couple others).

If the grey hair didn't reflect my age, this next comment will: I am so thrilled with the Internet! Look at us, all of us from all over the globe, talking to each other. And now some cultural info from Adeline. It's great. I love it. Well, it makes sense that people would be honoured to be...

My new Sea of Cortez pearls (and a couple others).

Thanks Amanda. :-) One thing though; I was facing my house, which is sided in quite boisterous and bright pastel turquoise. I think it is reflecting off the pearls quite a bit. Again, the more "accurate" ... though who knows really .... the more accurate photo may be the indoor one, pearls...

My new Sea of Cortez pearls (and a couple others).

My Strand My Strand Yes Amanda: Good job scoping it out. The more accurate picture is the "neck" shot on the stand. That photo is closer to the normal look of these pearls. Linda.
